Hi,
I have MS Outlook 2002 and need to move my emails and contact onto another machine which only has Outlook Express.

I have exportedmy stuff off Outlook 2002 into pst files, but there is no way in Outlook express to import them.

If anyone can give me some advice on how to work around this, or how to do this, it would really be great.

tnx

Shai

You can do it. It is called an Import. However you must first transfer the file from old pc to new pc and import from the new pc into Outlook Express.

In outlook it is the .pst file. It is a hidden file. Open Windows Explorer (right click start, click on explore), go to tools, folder options, view tab, and click on show hidden files and folders and click off hide extensionf for known file types. This makes the file visable (it is under your user name / Local Settings / Application Data / Outlook. Transfer the whole Outlook folder from old pc to new one and note exactly where you put it.

Check the Outlook Express Help tab for import information as Outlook Express is not the same as Outlook including where it stores its files.
