Having one breast bigger than the othe is totally normal. Even for women who've never breastfed, heck never had children. This is no reason to wean either, if it's time for you to do it, then ok, but not for a "boob imbalance."

And as long as your baby is still getting breastmilk or formula until at least his first birthday, it does not matter if it comes from a sippy cup, baby bottle, or any other container.

Usually for them to even out - try some new nursing positions, he may not be gettig all the milk out from that side, or just some time for the milk to dry up if that what your plan is.

It's normal when you aren't breastfeeding to have different sized boobs.... You can stop breastfeeding when you want. However, just because one boob is bigger than the other is a strange reason.. Try switching breasts every other feeding or pump the breast you don't use as often... You're almost to the 1 yr. mark, I say keep it up at least until then ! good luck

Its quite common to have one breast larger than the other, unfortunately, it comes more frequently with women who nurse.
The only thing that can be done naturally is to try to have your son nurse on the smaller breast more frequently than the other- to produce a larger milk buildup in the breast. It won't make a 'dramatic' change but can lead to a slight difference in sizes making htem appear a little more symmetrical.

It sounds like you are trying to wean your son however, and the only thing 'unnatural' is cosmetic surgery. I for one hate this option- and just live with my left breast larger! I have opted for not wearing skin tight shirts that make it look noticeable, and have also taken care in my selection in bras. A good bra (which will cost more) can really help with the appearance of your breasts through clothing. & Make you feel more confident in what you wear!.

Personally I do not think its any problem that your son will not drink from a bottle. Actually, I think its a blessing! Its called no weaning from a bottle; which for son kids can be quiete difficult. Just make sure he's getting the amount he needs in oz drinking from the cup. I wouldn't even try bottle feeding! =)

Good Luck! Hope this helped-

My left side was always bigger b.coz that was the side I felt comfiest holding her and feeding!!

It's great he likes the cup, skip the bottle if you can it's no good past a certain age anyway!

Your boobs will eventually settle down when the supply and demand for milk stops.

Unfortunately they will never be as perky as pre-pregnancy, lol!

OH, if you're still feeding, then use the smaller side more often, to biuld up supply and increase size.

They will go down with time, and will resume equality, or at least colse. My guess is your baby perfered the bigger side, so it produced more milk. As far as the cup goes, you are lucky. If he does fine with a cup, that is one less thing to wean him from in the future. Just make sure he is getting enough to satisfy him, and he will be perfect. So, yes it is all normal. Keep up the good work.

There's no need to ever give him a bottle if he prefers cups, just go straight to using them. My girls never had a bottle, they went straight from breast to cup (but continued feeding from the breast until they were over three).

There's also no need to wean him from the breast, in fact there's many many reasons to keep breastfeeding until he's two or even older. The health benefits to you and him don't stop at this age, in fact they keep increasing the longer you feed.

Lopsidedness is very common, even in women who never breastfeed. Most women have one breast larger than the other, and sometimes breastfeeding just magnifies that. The link that mystic gave you is very good, I'd have a look at that if I were you.

It's totally normal for one to be bigger than the other. Mine are, doesn't bother me. Taking the boob away from him isn't a solution to that problem, sorry.

If you are still nursing, then nurse more on the bigger breast. it will bring it back down to size. If you are trying to ween him, then the milk will dry up and it will also go back to size. My son never took a bottle either, he went straight to a sippy cup. That's completely normal. I don't like the taste of rubber either, so I don't blame them.

Lopsided! What can I do?
...When baby prefers one side, or when supply or breast size is greater on one side
