a san diego elementary school is allowing muslims to do their silly praying during class time, separating boys and girls and accomodating other islamic dogma for the 100 somali muslims in the school. what do you suppose the ACLU would do if this school was accomodating christian or jewish students who demanded these privileges?

what the hell is going on here?...
this country, and lots of others, seem hell-bent on allowing muslims and islam to slowly erode our values and replace them with our enemies. why do you suppose this is being allowed to happen?

Liberals think that if you are nice to someone who hates you that they will like you in return. They bend over backwards to accomidate muslims. What they don't realize is that they only see us as weaklings for abandoning our own beliefs.

The separation of church and state should be applied to ALL religions! I know that Muslims are expected to pray five times a day in the direction of Mecca, but the Muslim students can do what the Christian students are typically allowed to do. That is, they can pray outside of class time and form on-campus religious organizations. The Constitution does allow that, after all.

Because we are worried about all of this political correctness bull***. To be quite honest, separation of church and state will never be obsolete until we eliminate the Constitution, since it was founded on Christian beliefs (even though liberals fail to recognize this). Our morals are being trampled so that we can accommodate extremists..hmmmm?? I haven't figured it out either. I will pray adn say "under God" when I please regardless of who I offend. Sorry for having morals and believing in God, the two things our country was built on...amazing how interpretation can be stretched to fit the needs of the libs, dontcha think?

I think it is fear. It is political correctness taken to the nth degree. It seems that it is ok to trample on Christian beliefs, but when it comes to Muslims, we can't offend them. I wonder if because when you offend a Christian, not much happens. When you offend a Muslim, you often become a target. With that said, I do believe that many people do not understand the separation of church and state. It does not mean that you can not have religion in schools, it means that no one denomination can dominate in the public forum.

I understand there is a law suit that has been filed as it should have been. What is more odd is that the press is quiet about it.

There are always several christian groups operating at any given highschool (the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for example)

Quit yer whining. Saying "I'm being discriminated against" doesn't make it true. Just makes me sick of listening to the lot of you.
