Yeah, he survives. But he can't get up, so he tries to take the gun and kill himself. Then he sees a vision of Walt who talks him out of it. If you haven't seen the season 3 finale, you really need to! It's so great when Locke shows up at the end!

Yeah, Locke survived being shot by Ben... didn't you see the last episode.

The best part of the finale was Hurley and the VW Bus! That was just too much!
But, yes, locke survives. You must watch it!

Yes, Walt appears to him while he is lying in the open grave and tells him to get up. He gets up and is fine.
