I am 15 years old and I hate to read...."boring" books.
Like books that arent exciting from begining to end or have a lot of foreign words in it.
Right now I am reading hunchback of notre dame
and I hate it
I dont want to read it any more
I am totally in to Harry Potter
and I like mysteries
I dont like romance novel (not the one my grandma reads) but if its like teen romance with other stuff then its ok i guess
and I like fantasy books like the harry potter series (like witches and wizards) but all the books I read about witches and wizards I end up comparing to harry potter
so I dont know
what books should i read that arent boring through out the book
oh and my reading level is college level so if a book is difficult to read thats fine

A Certain Slant of Light!
I love this book, I even got my boyfriend to read it and he HATES reading. (He was totally amazed by it)

It's about a ghost who meets a boy who can see her...you'll have to read on. I don't want to give much away.
I love it because it sounds like it will be cliche, but it is far from one.

The James Patterson "Maximum Ride" series was written for teens. He, himself, says that Max is the only thing he brings from the other book, When the Wind Blows. I am reading "School's Out Forever". it's about a bunch of kids who can fly because of genetic research done on them by doctors in a secret lab in Colorado. They are not angels but they have wings like birds and their internal organs are not like humans. They have enemies that chase them all over and try to hurt or kill them. Most teens into fantasy would enjoy them I think. Go to James Patterson's website to check it out and there is a lot of stuff to go along with those books. Questions for teachers to ask students who read them for class credit.

James Patterson has written a series of books for young adults titled Maximum Ride and various sub titles. Its abaout an experiment gone wrong which creates human Angels and their stories. There were two prequels to Maximum Ride they were "When the WInd Blows" and "The Lake House". The two books tell how they were created.

This may sound nerdy, but try looking into some comic books. Their visual nature make them fun and quick to read. There's a great new one out called "Plain Janes."

Read more about it here: http://www.dccomics.com/graphic_novels/?gn=7218
