Is this just something that doctors say, or has anyone out there actually tried it and, if so, did you really see or feel any noticeable difference to your skin and general health?
Secondly, when you started drinking more water, did you also start spending all day on the loo?

drinking more made my skin very soft and clear and made me feel less tired, particularly in the afternoons. I also don't get sick as much.
yes to the loo thing but your body adjusts.

Water is the best thing you can drink. Pretty much all I drink is water and wine at night. I feel a lot healthier and it keeps me from feeling dehydrated. Sodas and sweet tea are bad for your kidneys, and that makes it hard for me to loo. So when I drink more water I have no problem going to the loo and I feel better. Try drinking bottled water that's how I started enjoying water more.

I went through a phase of always drinking fizzy drinks or juice. When I started college I decided to have a change and drank around 3 bottles of water a day. It kept me hydrated and after about two weeks my friends said how good my skin was looking :-) I think I'm gonna try it again, a bit like a detox for me. I don't drink as much water as i should but it really does work wonders for your skin. Although you will find yourself running to go for a wee more often (which in way is healthy because you are cearing out your bladder and minimising rsk of infection) :-)

I never used to drink water. I lived on soda BUT I had a kidney stone in 2003 and now ALL I drink is water. I just feel healthier. I usually drink 2 bottles of 24 oz so that's equal to 48 oz ( a little less than 8 glases a day) but well worth it.
I recommend drinking water highly!

Water is pretty much all i drink in the day time. Have doen for years.
Couldn't say if it makes much difference to the skin etc but certainly feel better for being properly hydrated.
Go to the loo less than I did drinking coffee and tea all day..

I think the key to drinking more water is to try sipping it throughout the day, don't just drink a glass of water off at one gulp, that will go straight into the bladder and you will keep running to the loo. If you sip it often, it will gradually be absorbed into your bloodstream and do you more good.

Yes, i have tried it.It does improve the condition of your skin, I get less headaches, I have less cramps in my legs and i go to the toilet a lot better when i drink plenty of water.Yes in the first few days you will go to the toilet a lot more than usual but your body will adjust and as it gets used to it you will go more less.Dehydration is the cause of many problems. You just don't realise it.Red eyes, dry lips, dark circles under your eyes etc.........Try it for a week or so you will notice an improvement in some area.

I don't drink the recommended amount of 8 glasses of water per day, more like 5 glasses, and I end up going to the bathroom a lot if I do drink a lot of water.

completely discovered the treatment while your yearning something candy yet has no energy or sodium. the only variety I even have discovered that i myself like and isn't any longer overdone, yet defintely quenches your thirst plus is definitely basically water, the variety is "Nestle" needless to say flavored water. The obtainable flavors top now at Walmart are: Fruit Splash, Strawberry Kewi, Orange Spash. i recognize that isn't very many yet they are great!! i like them lots extra helpful than all the different manufacturers. They run $2.18 for a 6 %.. i'm addicted to them and your physique will thankyou. wish this facilitates.

Yes, I drink a lot of water all day long, and yes I pee a lot. But, not excessively. And I definitely notice a difference with feeling hydrated. My skin doesn't get as dry as it does when I don't drink a lot of water. You just feel better.
