A very popular one now is the mini illuminated "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. You can find them in all of the gift shops for around $20 and it definitely says "Vegas!"

If you get a gift from Vegas the casino gift shops will charge way more that if you went to on of the malls there is even the fashion show on the strip. A deck of cards in the casino is like $5- $10 but go to s store off the strip and wow $2. I am a local and we do any thing we can to avoid getting any thing from a casino gift shop. The outlet malls and such all have gift shops that sell the same stuff and save you cash so hey if everything goes well when you get back home you can give your coworker a nice gift and still take them to dinner all for the price of the my friend went Vegas and all I got was this stupid ashtray Key chain.

I like the chip on the wall mounting as well-I´ll have to remember that the next time we go.

We went to Walgreen´s in Vegas for souveniers-they are less expensive, and made pretty well. We bought a ladle holder, and a X-mas ornament of the famous Vegas sign. Our best souvenier though, was our marriage certifícate-we married there this past May:)

I really like the idea of the $1 chips. When I go though I get the free club card from each casino and save those. For your coworker that's hard. It depends on what they are into. If they collect something specific find those type of items there. Stay away from the Las Vegas t-shirts and such unless they are really into those.

Good luck and don't gamble too much.

BTW the next time I go I will do the $1 chip idea.

They have alot of souveneirs all over the place in Las Vegas, but to impress your co-worker I would definitely buy her a T-shirt from one of the nice casinos, you can get something decent from any of the places for $15 to $20.

I've stayed at the Rio several times, which has a slew of gift shops. They sell used decks of cards from several of the different casinos there...chip sets of several different sizes...jewelry of course, (all the normal tacky stuff as well), but my wife's favorite was CSI t-shirts & hats, as she is a big fan of that show.

Decks of cards from the casinos, they sell them everywhere. Ethel M chocolates. The $1 chip is a good idea - I never thought of that one. Personalized dice or poker chips.
