how many days do you ovulate?

i know i was ovulating yesterday, me and my husband had spur of the moment sex this morning and didn't use protection. could i still be ovulating or do you only ovulate one day?
thanks so much!

we are not trying to get pregnant, thats why i keep track of my ovulation days, because i'm not on birthcontrol (for reasons) and we just didn't use a condom because, well, like i said it was spur of the moment :)

there is a three day window of opportunity to get pregnant once you have ovulated. Yes you could get pregnant, you'll know in a month

Do you know you ovulated or did you have signs of ovulating? The 'symptoms' of ovulation mean that you are going to ovulate within 24 hours. So if you had symptoms, your spur of the moment this morning might get you more than you were looking for! Good luck to you!

Typically they say you ovulate 12-14 days out from the FIRST day of your period, and then that lasts for 5 days...however we are all different. After two yrs of TTC and tracking myself more then close this past yr I notice that I ovulate 8 days out from the first day of my period.
It would be best if you went on the patch, or pill or something nonevasive and not permanent until you were ready to have a child.

you have 5 fertile days and 1 day of ovulation so the week you are going to ovulate have sex that whole week because you are fertile and to be sure you don't miss the ovulation time. good luck
