Its my birthday Friday! :) Yay! Happy Birthday to me!

I saved $400 to go on a shopping spree and I would like to have my money stretch as far as possible.
There are 3 outlets I really want to visit: Juicy Couture, Guess & Marciano. Which store should I visit firts, second, third ? and what should my "shopping strategy" be? I will have approx 3 hours to shop until the stores close.

Thanks so much ;) Wish me luck!

Go to Juicy. I used to work at a Guess/Marciano outlet a few years ago and their selection now doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be in my opinion. Falls apart easily!

1. Juicy Couture - In fact this is the only one I would visit, as I am not too fond of the other two stores. However, be careful not to buy the tacky velour suits and whatnot. Go for the billowy blouses, the cute tunics, the gorgeously cut jeans, super comfy flats, etc.
2. Marciano - Cute dresses! Just again watch out for the tacky stuff (ie. the stuff that looks like it belongs on a stripper). The clothes here are much less everyday, more for special occasions, clubbing etc, so not the ideal store for back to school.
3. Guess - Umm, I don't dig the store too much but if you decide to go here steer clear of anything that has the logo plastered all over it. Instead, invest in a few good pairs of jeans although they tend to run small I think, maybe some cute t-shirts, blouses, I'm not quite sure what they sell there these days.
Good luck! :)

Woah. Rosey's prices for the "outlet" stores seem expensive. Maybe it's just me, but the last few times I've been to outlet malls/stores, the prices seemed high.

If it were me, I'd go thrift store and rummage sale happy and replace items that have worn down a bit, then get a few things I don't need, but just want, and maybe go to Kohl's and/or Target as they seem to have good clearance racks. Also, I'd get a few things for my husband as some of his pants are getting looser. (YAY!!) With my leftover money Very likely around $350, maybe $300) I would carefully invest it. Also, when I buy clothing, I pay as little as possible and try and make it last as long as possible. I have clothes that I've been wearing for years and still get compliments on. And they likely cost me less than $5.

For my 16th birthday (14 years ago) my father bought me a share or two of Wendy's stock. He and I built on that and I have at least five shares, but not quite ten. (Each share was around $15 each.) Somewhere along the way, Wendy's bought Tim Horton's. Tim's split from Wendy's last year. I now own several shares of Tim's as well. Even better, is that I've been getting divident checks from Tim Horton's. Nothing major-- $9.something after the split and in May, ninety cents. Nothing major, but since neither I nor my father ever bought a share of Tim Horton's it was straight free money. The $.90 has gone into my play money fund along with the dime I found later in the day after cashing the check.

So you spend $400 on clothes. Will you even like or wear them in a year or two?

Well i would just get what ever you want at each....if it was me i would quickly go through all three stores then decide which store you had liked the most at and then go back and get the stuff you wanted, then repeat for the other two stores. That way we don't see a shirt you like at Guess that Juicy Coulture has in a better color but you go to guess first and get the shirt at guess cause you dont know about the one at juicy coulture. But i wouldnt spend it all at those three stores unless your going back to school shopping. I would also spend some money at an accessory store like claires or deb or even walmart. Good luck!

If you want to stretch your money, you should go to less expensive outlets... but anyway.

You should got to Juicy and get a sweatsuit or something cute. That'll come out to like, $150.

Then go to Guess and get some jeans ($45) & cute shorts, which are i think $30 or $35.

Then go to Marciano, get a couple of those cute tops for like $80 a piece.

Have fun!!

Guess
Marciano
Juicy Couture

Don't waste alot of money on Juicy Couture, because their clothes are very colorful and never end up matching anything. You could get a bag, but it would be very hard to match.

Why don't you visit Topshop - http://topshop.com
River Island
Zara
These are lovely shops.
