I will take half of the money of the people that are very rich and give it to the people that are very poor.
I will set free all the people who are in prison for no reason.
I will displace people who don't deserve to be in their positions.
I will distribute billions of toys to all children of the world.
I will execute anybody who has ever raped a woman or a child.
mmm.. what else ?..
I guess the 24 hours would be over by now..

The very first thing I do is to stop all the clocks in the world. The rotation of the earth will be stopped. I will make myself a true and faithful servant of God and make Him sign a contract to extent the duration indefinitely. Abolish all the religions from the earth except one. The name of that religion will be decided by God. The heaven and hell will not be experienced after death. The sinners will be given the punishment then and there. The virtues will be rewarded immediately. Socialism will be enforced strictly. The gap between the "haves" and "have nots" will be zero. The power entrusted to me will not be handed over to my younger ones as hereditary. All the governments will be stopped. Politicians will be given heavy duty works.

You know, God has already given me command of my own life for twenty four hours.
I get up and live and breath and make choices and therefore command my own life all day long for twenty four hours and then do it again.
So, after seeing what I do with my power to do anything I wish in a day then I hesitate to take command of the whole earth!
If I HAD to though:
1. I would wish for God to take back command, I would humble myself before him and tell him HE KNOWS BEST and I don't.
This is a total serious answer too--I would back as far away from this "opportunity" as possible because God knows far more than we can even come close to and somehow through all the suffering and trials and complications, HE alone is in control and knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

Great opportunity. I will remove the capacity for misunderstanding in the minds of mankind, so that men shall not anymore see the real as the unreal and the unreal as the real. To be precise I'll give mankind the power to look at things as they really are.Thus, maya being removed, the rest will take care of themselves from then onwards. I'll thank God.

I shall create a world goverment who shall be responsible to look after basic needs of all human beings.

I would do nothing. I don't have the audacity to think that I am smarter than God. So I wouldn't change his work in any way, shape or form. To much power for me to handle, better to be left in the hands of God.

i think the most important thing to stop in this 21st century is terrorism.
so if i was in command then i would have an unlimited power to do whatever i like.so i would ask all the terrorist and vulgars to stop their terror and become good and to make the world a safe place to live in.

Increase the power of human conscience to approve/disapprove actions severalfold such that it would be almost impossible for anyone to go against conscience.
