Why, when the news or other programs show file footage of "known terrorist" all of their faces are covered? Do they (terrorist) want to be like the bank robbers of the early west? Do they even know why? my thought is they are as smart as the turnip on the road..squiiiiissshhh ! ! !

Because that is the only photo they have.

Most terrorists will cover their face because if they are recognized someone could try to take revenge on their family (a big thing in Islamic countries).
