Yes. And they can't realize that they never get picked to do anything because they are incompetent slugs. At my old job, I used to get picked to train new employees instead of this one girl, even though she had been there for five years (I was there for one year at the time). But, she was lazy and screwed up all the time, always getting written up. She came up to me, right in front of my orientee, and said "I should be training her, NOT you. I don't know who the hell you think you are. I was here longer than you." Real nice, huh?

No...
But I have done it to someone before. I think it's ok to do it as long as you know that other person really doesn't deserve to be picked for things, which was what was happening in my case!
But I can imagine it would be annoying if you were really just a superior employee and this person wouldn't shut up about it!

No. Unless you are sleeping with the boss, or a severe sycopant. They are just jealous. Blow it off. After awhile
they will get the message. The reason you are chosen is
because you do not whine.

I have in the past. I just told him because his work sucks...lol. It was true. I don't normally do stuff like that, but couldn't help it with this particular dumb@ss. No problems like that now though.

The next time you get chosen, put on your tiara and say you were chosen because you're special. I dare anyone to question you while that tiara is on your head.

Tell them if they sat on their desk and actually did their work instead of harassing you, maybe they'd actually get some work done.
