Where in the world is the dvdrom at on your computer ? Is it the disk holder that comes with it already ? or what ?

If your PC is 3 years or older, what you have there could just be a CD ROM or CD RW. If newer, it could have a DVD ROM and you may have been using it just for CDs because you do not have a DVD playing software installed like Power DVD.

It is just a CD drive but it does DVDs also. Look at the logos on your CD drive and see if there is DVD in there. That is the easiest way to know.

you know what a dvd movie is. good it is saying you can read dvd's and if it had retibal on it it can bunn them too
