Seems like people in this section are fond of using the word 'stir' and 'provoking' when they come into a heated argument (or to prove their point)...

"Don't stir this place" as they say...

Am I missing out on something?

Shah, I guess playing stupid is better than being stupid, would you agree?

But Yuna, each and every one of us can just ignore that and move on, right? Don't you think that each and every user have their own preferences to choose from?

Each and every question asked here can be made into something 'good' or 'bad' by one's intention and participation... regardless of what the topic is, would you agree with me on that? I think it is quite obvious that if someone is too sensitive and being too petty towards other users, they are the ones who hold such negative views and prejudice against another user for asking/answering...

Can't people just say what they want and don't end up being branded as stirrer? or provoker? I know I use my spoon as stirrer, what about you?

the only stirring i know is stirring my coffee.

the only provoking i know is when i refuse to let my son play with the astro remote control.

okay serious answer: i think people are uneasy with political or racial Q&A. Afraid that it will cause unnecessary tension.

edit:
the bear, this happens when people took things too personally. Some people think it is okay for them to stir things up but others cannot. as for me, i love political q&a. I am very much aware of what is happening around me.

I also really do not know the meaning. Feel what you have stated may be correct. Why not ask the person who has used the word by sending a mail or request him to clarify just sending the link of this question -

This place is beginning to taste like unpalatable leftover cold stale coffee. Don't wanna drink it, why stir?
Some people are very proprietorial towards Y!A Malaysia. They mistakenly believe that Y!A Malaysia IS Malaysia. And the rest of us are terrorists.
