I just read about it a few weeks ago, saw a few videos on you tube.....what shall I believe? Any one can help.... what is the point of having all these destroyer while else where people are dying of hunger?

Ok.

My points are:
1.These destroyers are capable to destroy the whole planet and more! we all gonna die, so there won't be 1 , 2 and 3rd world as some people thinks we burn all together... this will happen if we don't change the way we treat each other on our planet. This planet is ours (white, balck , red, ,,,,, poor ,rich,,,,,)

2. Why we don't give that money to the people who needs foods and place to live at.... We all are same we are one thing ( Human)................

If u can't help o don't want to help them then (Live and let live).......

I hope this world become friendly very soon.

Jesus! Come on buddy, get off the speed and get sober. First, the Kursk sank because of a problem in the engine department (Russia won't exactly say). All crew were lost. Yes of course they have unmanned subs! As for the rest... watch some good ol' American TV and you'll find out.

Hello,

A faulty rocket propelled dummy torpedo had a chemical explosion aft that sent the sub to the ocean floor.
The sailors on board had families and the military who wanted them rescued as well as find out what happened.

Super powers build these costly machines for defence and protection. Also there are incredible scientific advances in military spending and research that gets filtered down to the people like us. Thank the military spending and arms race that we are here chatting now on this forum.

People starving is another matter. There is enough food and money in the world. The problem is distribution and respecting corrupt governments around the world who screw up deliveries because of ethnic conflicts or do stupid things to crash their economies.

Finally you might ask why did we waste 1 or 2 thousand dollars on our computers we use here instead of sending the money to the food banks or world charities. What about our cars and plasma TV's?

The "sole" purpose of having an overwhelming military power is to "deter" any nation from seeking conflict with you. And, when necessary, enforce national policy.

I understand what you are stating; I have said the same thing about the United States spending "billions" of dollars on space exploration, when we have so many needs on earth.

I can't find any correlation from men dying on a submarine catastrophe and starvation in 3rd world countries, if you have a point, sorry, I've missed it !

Your question needs clarification--one part has nothing to do with the other...
