that there is a greater chance of having twins or triplets. Since you have so many eggs that have not been used. I was on the Depo for about 5 years and just came off. That's 5 years worth of eggs that didn't come down because I never had a period. Can someone with expertise please explain.

no, that is not true at all. you do not increase your risk of multiple births with depo. you will still only release one egg at a time. however, having been on depo, it may be 1-2 yrs before you are able to become pregnant or resume a normal cycle. so if your period does not come back and you are not getting pregnant, dont worry about it - that is a very very common result of using depo

I would think that isn't true. The only way it would be is if the woman goes to a fertility clinic.
