I knew someone on the track team last yr who took nitrix and cut one second off of his 100m dash time. Would nitrix have any affect on a distance runner?

Also, how effective would NO Explode be in helping me as a distance runner.

To make yourself dependent on something is the worst for a runner. If you rely on things to help with speed and endurance, then mentally you’re telling yourself that the only way to get faster is with a certain object or item (which is not the way to get faster). To add something into your running routine only complicates the process which is supposed to stay as simple as possible. I know some other athletes who take it and they reek with nasty smells. For some of them it didn’t even work.
I would say that if you used it and it did work then you would get stronger, but not the right way. Long distance runners usually run faster when they have toned muscles. The way you would be doing it would give you too much extra weight and for longer distances, it would only weigh you down because your body is not given enough time to adapt.
For a shorter distance like the 200m and under, it would not give as many negative affects because the race is so short. I still would not advise shorter distance people to use it. Most athletes I see using it is baseball players.
Trust your body because it can do amazing things. Hard work will give you the best results.
