OK, this is just a guess, but perhaps you are referring to Schwan's, the Minnesota based food delivery company?

That probably depends on what job you mean. Without knowing what 'shwans' is, I'm positive they have more than one job category. Experience usually makes a difference as well.

Not sure what they pay today, but I worked for them in early 1970's. Pay was ok, but they work your tail off. Expected you to put in 12 hrs a day, no OT pay, and work holidays or make them up on Saturday. It was not a fun job.
