Oh yes it was the second choice for my youngest, we plumped on Lloyd in the end but it was a close thing. We probably would have spelt it the Welsh way Owain but you can also pronounce it Owen! I like Christopher too it's quite unusual these days but not when I was growing up two of my best friends are called Christopher although we do tend to say Chris. I think it's a very substantial, traditional name for a boy that would suit throughout life as too would Owen! Two good names!

I think they are both good names. I know an Owen who works as a magazine editor and two of my best friends are called Christopher.
