I met a girl on messenger a month ago.. we talk a lot through text messenging and sometimes the phone, we haven't met yet.. well I keep saying "I love you" on the phone and she goes, "Luv ya too" and stuff. I really am falling in love with her.

Well last night I asked if she would go out with me, as in a relationship. She told me "we will have to meet first.."

Is this a good sign or a chance of a "no" ?

She hasn't even met you yet...... how can she possibly answer that question? It's NOT a "NO", it's a "I just don't know you", answer.

You should have just asked for a date. And you need to meet in a safe place for her. My first date with my current male friend is what we did. We met at a coffee house each coming with our own cars. That way if it did not work out we could leave and there are other people there so that I could feel safe.
I am sure you would not do this, but some men try to get a woman alone just for the purpose of having s*x.
I don't think it is a "No" just try a gentler method of asking her for a date.

The two of you might get along famously in writing but that doesn't mean that you will "click" in real time.

She is wise in her response because it will give you both a chance to see if the spark is there or not.

Meet, have fun and then decide if you will make a good couple.

This not a yes and its probably a no. Usually I mean in the real world people meet face to face so that they get to know each other a little before they start telling each other that they love each other not the other way around

It's probably not a good idea to fall in love with someone whom you've never met in real life.

People can be so sweet and charming on-line and on the phone, then when you meet them (and really get to know them), they can be a totally different person.

Meet her in person and figure it all out.

Good Luck!

Luv ya means friendship love, not romantic love, my gf's little sister says luv ya to everyone and their dog. Sorry buddy but online really sucks for meeting romantically. Good for friends and a laugh though.

As a female, I usually say I LOVE YOU. If I love a guy. Love ya too is what I say to my guy FRIENDS. Be careful that you aren't being put in the friend list.

It's 50-50. Meet her and hope for the best.

Good Luck!!

She wants to meet you so she can see if you are the kind of guy that she's looking for. Facial appearance is the best for us women

I wouldn't think negatively of it. By right she really doesn't know you, and you don't know her. I mean really...saying I love you when you've never met, kind of hard to fathom in my mind. People can change who they are in writing. But face to face you can actually get to know the true person.
