Yahoo Groups has an adult section.
A few years ago it was very popular then Yahoo was threaten by the Dallas city council with losing some of their tax breaks in their Dallas office because of the adult material. Yahoo "cleaned up" the yahoo groups by deleting thousands of groups and removing all the adult groups (then called clubs) from the navigation directory. Groups has never been as popular since. They have adult groups but they delete them from time to time without warning. I don't think Yahoo wants the added hassle of another adult site in their lineup.
I am in my mid thirties and have been a yahoo user for several years

There's really no way to regulate who gets on Y!A, so it would be difficult to have an Adults Only section. In fact, it would likely just attract some of the younger crowd - and would be a haven for trolls.
(I'm over 18)

Maybe - as a teacher I find alot of the things on here just disgusting and kids shouldn't be seeing this stuff and it would help us deal with the children who think its funny to be naughty.

Good Luck!!!

Well, maybe some underaged perverts would certainly lie about their age, just to get to know stuff..I'm thirteen by the way...

P.S. are you asking this because of LIPS? just curious.

I'm 28 years old and I think they should. There's a lot of things that we talk about that the little kids don't understand. Plus, I'm tired of the little teeny-bopper questions.
