I need to move my footer, but can't seem to be able to do it

Hi kja, thanks for your answer, but I don't really understand and have tried but to no avail. Could you try to make your answer even more basic.

In Word, select VIEW, then HEADER/FOOTER. This will bring you to the Header. Select the button from the small toolbar that allows you to toggle between the Header and the Footer. Once you're in the Footer, you should be able to move the lines around.

If you simply want to have the Footer lower on the page, then VIEW and PAGE SETUP will get you to the Margins, where you can adjust top, bottom, sides, header, and footer.
