Ancient Egypt, I've always been fascinated by the culture. The scenery and the art and costumes would all be amazing.
Somewhere in the future and ancient Rome would have been interesting options too.

Ancient Egypt. I've got an edge w/some techonological advances, I'll get answers to several mysteries, and I don't have to worry about getting burnt at the stake, hung, or eaten.
