I am 16, a virgin, and my period is like always EXACTLY on time. I am a little worried. My last period was on June 9, now it's July 12, and still, nothing. I am trying not to worry, because i know that when it comes i am still going to be miserable for a week, but i can't help it. My period is always exactly on time. Like if it's supposed to come on the 5th, the at 12 midnight the 4th, it'll come. It's NEVER EVER late. I am trying not to be concerned. I cannot tell my mom because i am graduating soon and if i tell her about this it'll just tip her over the edge that i am not ready for college (i am, really). And besides, i don't want to upset her if it isn't serious. I just want to make sure.

stress? well, my nephew and his mom (not my sister) moved in 2 days after my last period. could that be considered "happy-stress", i do enjoy him being here and all, but i didn't think it was taking that big of a toll on my body.....

don't know if this'll help or not, but i've been getting my period since i was 12, it was regular by the time i was 13. So why would it just become 'irregular'?

it's just normal. there are many factors to this:
sleeping hours
food that u eat
emotional feelings
hormonal change
lack of exercise/movements
and so on.

my classmate also had a delay of about 3 months but after that, her menstruation came back. if u r 2 worried about it, just go to the OBGyne

It could be stress related. Stress such as from thinking about graduation just around the corner (even good things can stress us out) can affect our periods causing them to be late.

my dear, if you are still a virgin, nothing to worry about... the normal menstrual cycle is 28 days to 30 days.... it may be due to some hormonal changes... it may be due to stress...dont worry too much...
