There really is no such thing. For thousands of years we've tried to make people into the things that we want them to be. The only reason we do the things we do is because of laws and religion. It wasn't the norm 100 years ago for a female to get tattoos and wear short skirts. Now it is. It wasn't normal then but now it's no big deal.
Being normal just means that you fit in better with all the rest of the sheep. You're fleece isn't black. It's ok to be different. It's ok to set your own rules. Just be prepared for some funny looks. If you don't think murder is a big deal and you want to go on a killing spree... just remember, you can't say it's because there's no such thing as normal. You have to be prepared for the repercussions of such an adventure.
Just do what you need to do to be happy. If that means breaking out of what's "normal" then do it.
