About a month ago, maybe longer, I read an article about a monk who came up with a new style of music: Lotus Beats. The picture for the article showed a monk in red, holding a laptop, looking up to the sky (maybe) with his eyes closed; or something similar. I sampled all the music and it's AMAZING! Now I can't find it. I thought his name was Phaezer/Pheazer 1. I have to have that album!!! Someone please help!!

Here's something I found out about a German guy from New Zealand named Peter Haeder aka Phaeder. He's not a monk, but he is a Buddhist. Here is a website where he is interviewed...

here is his website:

you can get his music there from itunes

pretty interesting music...I like listening to Banco de Gaia myself and Roni Size. Some of Phaeder's music sounded like a mix of the two.

I think he's the one cause he has an album called "Lotus Beat" released in 2004. There's a pic of a monk w/ headphones on holding a laptop. He has like 5 allbums.
