Life has flourished throughout the Universe but not as we know it. It has adapted to all kinds of environmental challenges. Seeing as the Universe is so big, there must be billions of places it has arisen. Earth, humans, trees and Stars are all made of the same chemicals. We are all similar. Stardust has settled on many surfaces in the Solar System, and could possibly come here via an asteroid or even a Comet. The conditions where favourable for the dust to evolve over millions of years. It is purely coincidental that it landed here in the first place.

Life did come from outer space for some of them. Question is where did the humans come from. By the way if adam and eve had a full grown human body in heaven doesn't that change the theory of how we humans came to earth, doesnt it say the theory of evolution for human being is wrong. Where is it is said all the animals and plant life have been created to serve Humans. Um no offense to anyone. Oh and another thing we Humans were not the first intelligent life to inhabit earth, we are the 2nd. The ones that came first are called the Jinns, they almost got wiped out but very few srvived. I believe that happened 65 milions years back, when the Dinosaurs were wiped out.

This is not a likely scenario, any more that life originating on earth and being blasted into space to populate other areas.
Three things are required for life are, time, chemicals and environment.
Several billion years of an evolving earth gives us all these ingredients.
The same conditions have happened billions of times in all parts of the universe, and will continue to happen.
If life couldn't emerge here on earth how could it possibly form somewhere in outer space?

Miller/Urey Experiments in the 1950's proved that the building blocks of life can be made in a flask.
The flask contains all the hydro carbon gases of primitive earth. Add in some electrical sparks for lighting and some water vapor. and voila
AMINO ACIDS
They were actually able to make crude copies of themselves.
organic molecules are found on comets
but just molecules
No organisms... for life to form somewhere else then fall to earth it would have to be robust enought to survive the cold dead space
it's just not likely

It's possible, but I think it's less probable than life originating here on earth. We know that organic molecules can form in space, but we've never detected anything as complex as life. Perhaps the building blocks of life started out there, and were put together here. Or perhaps everything started here.

It is certainly a possibility. But I doubt it. Planet Earth is at just the right distance from the Sun to have life. The complex carbohydrates and amino acids that are part of life formed because certain conditions were met. We came from a pond of goo and continue to evolve. Although maybe planet Earth was seeded by more advanced humans that are spreading their seed, so to speak.

no the only thing that makes any sense is likethe superman story. they were warring on mars and the superbaby was rocketed to earth and raised by earth parents. and then superboy save the world. thump thump.
by the way you'd best look to the convergence theory to explain life on earth or everywhere for that matter. life from star dust mixed in water. just like god to do that.

i dont see why life couldnt have been brought to earth from some other planet, after all its just as plausable as some being floating in the void bored one day who decides to make a universe over 7 days, model a man out of clay and then take one of this blokes ribs and make a female out of it isnt it?granted theres a whole load of physics and other science i dont have a clue about but to be the product of what is in effect a bored office workers friday afternoon doodle i dont think so...unless god wants to come for a pint with me and tell me the meaning of life ofcourse

It is possible, simple life forms are tougher than you'd expect. There are creatures that live in the acidic, boiling waters of deep sea volcanoes, at pressures that would squash us flat. I doubt anything complex would make the journey though, probably just bacteria

That isn't quite the theory. The building blocks for life (proteins, etc.) were brought to earth by comets... not cellular organisms themselves.
