If I stay I'll put my family in danger as well as myself.

I'd go, disappear into a different life. And perhaps one day I'll find a way to contact them again.

no, i wouldnt, i would feel that if someone really wanted to get me, they would do it before i entered the program, before or right after i testified, or else they would find me, i honestly cant think of anything important enough to cause me to do that, no matter what i had witnessed, there are probably many other cases of the same thing or worse happening, plus i really wouldnt trust my government to protect me any more then i could protect myself ,

No I wouldn't go. I'd rather take my chances, as to never see my family again would be a slow death anyway.

I would still tell my family because I know I can trust them with my life.........

I'm lucky that my family are like friends and my friend are like chosen additional family members

Due to what you described that's exactly what my partner did .......... - moved far away, even changed his name - then I met him .... that's how we started our life together ....

It had been 7 years but now back in touch with his family.

Personally I think it's great - new identiy, chance to start over etc

I would only do it if i thought my staying would in danger my loved ones.

They are to important to me, to inflict pain on them.
The grounds for me entering the program would be to say bye to me family.

so yes i would!!!
