I guess it depends on how old you are. if your over 18 then maybe an office job would be nice, sort of easy to get into. If your not yet 18 try working at a pizza/sandwich shop. It is alot better than McDonalds or some crazy fast food place. Plus they have shorter shifts than most places so you have as longer days as you would in a fast food place. It is hard to find a good job when your not 18 because you basically start at the bottom of the chain. Good Luck!

Hi i believe that McDonald's is a great place to start,"why?" because i started a McDonald's as my first job and now i am a well paid foreman on many job sites around Australia. McDonald's is that bad ,that degrading and pays so low (in Australia) that anything that is thrown at you in your future employment will be easy.

What is the best Job to retire from? I bet you think that depends on the person. You are correct. The same applies to your question. There is no such thing as a BEST first, second, or Nth job. It depends ENTIRELY on the person.

The best job is one you will be interested in.

What do you like to do e.g. if you hate computers, then an office job may feel like torture.

After that, think about work/life balance, money, location etc.

book store - it's super easy and will get you used to handling people without too many disgruntled customers as opposed to food service, where it's stressful and you only deal with angry people.
