My mum would drop me off at school and as soon as she was out of sight I always took my shoes off.
I loved being barefeet.
I still go to the supermarket barefeet.

Oh yes. Unfortunately I never saw anyone barefoot in public or heard of anyone doing it until I was almost 29, but when I did I knew immediately I never wanted to wear shoes again either. And I have been barefoot since (well, almost. That was at the start of a very cold winter -been barefoot since that spring). If I'd heard about the possibility before, I'm sure I would've been barefoot then.

Oh yes. I loathe shoes. They come off at or before the front door. I teach and usually do that barefoot with my shoes behind my desk. Of course going barefoot a lot makes you have to get a lot of pedicures (don't want caveman feet) but it's worth the cost.

I was allowed to attend my Junior and Senior years of High School in my Bare Feet, because I simply refused to wear footwear. It was tolerated only because I was an honor student, and of course, all of my college classes were attended COMPLETELY IN MY BARE FEET.
