Stay away from the buffets. They aren't cheap anymore, aren't that good, and people stick their grubby fingers in things and gorge like hogs to a trough. DelMonico's in Venetian is very good (they make the BEST tableside Ceasar salad). Stratosphere's restaurant (Top of the World) is really not good, but an awesome view. Commander's Palace (if it's still in the new Planet Hollywood/Old Aladdin) is tasty, if you like N.O. style. There is a Chinese place in the Hilton that was so good. I always love Margaritaville (as a Buffett fan) (in the Flamingo), and Mesa Grill in Ceasar's is interesting. I vote for staying away from buffets, and you'll likely do fine!

When I went there we went to a few and the best were Alladin's , Grand casino{night}, and Bellagio. i would recommend all of them. For a more romantic atmosphere try the restaurant at the top of the stratosphere I heard that 1 was pricey but awesome! You will need reservations for that 1.

There are so many good places to eat in Vegas, that is why we love Vegas so much. Just to name a few of my favorites:

Delmanico in Venetian - if you love steaks (very expensive but worth it)
Pinot Brasserie in Venetian - if you like french food, they have the best onion soup and foie gras (Expensive)
Emerils in MGM - if you like sea food and/or cajun food(Expensive)
Grand Lux in Venetian - for more variety of food, and not too expensive.

I hope this help, have fun in Vegas...

Carraba's. There's one in Henderson, and one in the residential area of Vegas called Summerlin. They have the best food, and a fabulous martini called "Italian Wedding Cake." Soooo good!

Wolfgang Puck's Spago located at Ceasars Forum Shops. The front part of the restaurant or "the cafe" is casual and the prices are very reasonable. The back part of the restaurant is very upscale, proper attire is required, and the prices are up there. Either way, the food is awesome!

The Cheesecake Factory in Caesar's Palace. They have so many lunch/dinner items to choose from! And the cheesecake is fantastic, too!
