My super tampons need to be changed every hour to two hours. Ibuprofen works for about an hour. I leak at night with my pad.

You could have endometriosis. See a doctor if you think you may have it. Here's a site.

Also, you should look into a menstrual cup. Don't knock it until you try it. I'm in navy law enforcement and the cup works wonders for me. No leaking, you can wear it twice as long as any pad or tampon, it's reuseable, and it won't harm your body the way tampons do. You can't get toxic shock from it and it's so comfortable you can't even tell you're wearing it. Here's a site to check out if you're interested.

I agree with gyoza1216 it could be endometriosis. The pain is the worst of them as I get it all the time and every month it feels like I am in labour. This is called dysmennorhea and the pain is caused by the body excreting too much prostoglandin which is a hormone produced when you are in labour. The pain is also the eggs being pushed out of the ovaries.
I sympathise with you sweetie, but we all have it it's life and it sucks but them's the breaks!!! Try hot water bottles or sipping water. If it bothers you too much ask the doc for an ultrasound of your uterus and ovaries to make sure all is well in 'the nether-region' and also ask for a mild over the counter drug that you could safely take each month.

Honestly, you could have a multitude of different female problems. Endometriosis is the first thing that comes to mind, though. Go see your gynecologist to find out for sure and get some help. He'll probably want to try different birth control pills at first, but be persistant and keep telling him your symptoms. gl

I should see you doctor YESTERDAY. You could have endometriosis or some other related problems. Anytime the blood is dark red, that's very suspicious. I know I'm a man, but I really hope you feel better.

You could have a cyst or a tumor. You need to go see your gynecologist. If you continue to lose a lot of blood and/or have unbearable pain you should probably go to the emergency room at the hospital.
