I see literally dozens of trolling posts made here daily, often personal attacks based against someone's party "enemies". Why should we even consider ourselves to be a competent society (or people in general) if some people cannot even provide a rational debate to their beliefs?

I'm glad to see that I'm actually getting some productive responses here. I think we (on both sides of the 'fence') need to rise up against the extremists and "trolls" that are constantly degrading and dumbing down real issues and problems.

By continuing to support them just because they appeal to your base party's platform, you show that you're no better than what the worst of your opposition thinks of you.

I agree there is no reason to use invectives and insult each other. It would be a lot more productive if we could have rational and cool headed discussions that don't always involve our party lines

Washington is even more bipartisan than the ilk in yahoo answers. Dems or republicans neither side care about issues just supporting their side.
