So, I take my girl to go get a burger at a place she wants to eat at. She says she is hungry, but when we get to the counter she orders a "Kid's Meal". I mean, I am convinced she only wants the toy, which is cute in a way, cause it shows she can still be a little kid at heart. Just curious?

My guy also thinks the same.
& It's not cause I want to save him $ or cause want him to see that im trying to keep my figure etc, & then when married I will order a #1 or 8 etc, or the toy (but they do give cute toys at times-lol)
With my appendicitis I had 2 times when I was a kid, after that & later on in life I was not able to eat too much in 1 sitting. So have to eat few small meals a day, including snacks.
But even with or without the appendectomy, I would still order a kids meal. Cause they give the right anount of portions. So im not too stuffed, & just full enough.
Maybe u're girl is the same way : )
My rule I had since a kid: Is to eat when hungry & to stop when just full enough, don't have to eat till totally stuffed.

Some people like to eat big meals, others are grazers. I am a grazer, and eat about 6 times a day, but for me, a big meal is sharing a hot sandwich with my honey and having a small cup of soup.
