Possibly it's too late however will all the other taxes about, the 'few' who make decisions for the BBC should start advertising and remove the license fee.

Like houses, the service and programs are not worth the price people are having to pay!

If the BBC started to advertise the license fee would not go away. This fee is paid for the privilege of receiving TV although a large amount does go to the BBC. The Chancellor would keep the money.

I think that's the wrong way to go. The BBC is one of the most respected channels, it's just standards have fallen since "the golden years".

People should actually get a say in what's put on it, rather than faceless "this is what the public wants, honest" surveys. More of what the BBC is good at, less reality and celebrity rubbish - if you want that go to ITV. And a couple of decent comedy programs!

Yer tv license is silly but I really hate adverts. Either they should put the price up and removed all the adverts from chanel 1-5 or just remove the fee altogether and have adverts on bbc.

you would be able to desire to accomplish a splash study. The license value is barely 50% of its expenditure and the different 50% comes from its commercial subsidiary BBC international. BBC television programmes are longer because of the fact they have no advert breaks so which you think of they taking dissimilar money yet they are actually not incredibly. those classified ads make extra human beings watch, if fewer human beings watched then the government could decrease its license value so we get low high quality programming.

totally agree with you. the bbc should stop sponging off the people and stand up on their own two feet. Other tv companies are doing this without problem....strikes me as the bbc is just to damned lazy...i.e. the crap they put out on the telly
