The proportions recommended are to use 5.7% permethrine and dissolve 20 to 30 mL in one gallon of water (about 4.5 L).

Since you have 25% solution you should dilute it with enough water to get the correct proportions. In other words you need to dissolve 4 to 5 mL in one gallon of water.

You need to make sure the dogs are already wet before sponging them with the diluted permethrine solution. Let the dogs air-dry.

-Repels and kills ticks that may carry Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever

-For use on clothing and bed nets

-Safe and effective for all outer clothing

-Can be used on children''s clothing

-Odorless and nonstaining

Its maximum permissible dose is up to 5% concentration. Hence, it should be diluted at least five times before being used on dogs.
