I don't think anyone dies of old age. They die from problems and problems happen to be more common in older people. Saying someone died from "old age" is really just saying there was so much wrong with them that a specific cause really couldn't be pinned down.

I would say your age largely depends on your choice of lifestyle.I had a very close relative die at 66 of old age, osteoporosis,Alzheimer's ,emphysema ,given a long history of prior smoking drinking and prescription drug abuse ,terrible diet, small wonder eh.Died of complications from simple pneumonia, and everything else usually associated with the elderly in their eighties.

8 to 21 -- progeria.
Quoting the source: "Children with Progeria die of atherosclerosis (heart disease) at an average age of thirteen years (with a range of about 8 - 21 years)."

There is a genetic disease called progeria, it's where kids age rapidly and they don't live to be much older than 15-20 yrs old. It's sad. Look it up.

My 47 year old neighbor died of a heart attack last year. He didn't go for annual check ups and his condition went untreated. He has four young daughters and a wife he left suddenly.

Probably around 37 or so. It's all relative, though.
