Those are tough little cars - I would say if the price is right go ahead and grab it.

It's most likely from sun damage. Now that you actually have a crack, you can't really fix it, but you can prevent from getting new ones. Use a sun shield when you're going to be parked in direct sunlight for long periods of time, and you can also buy Armor All dash protector solution at an auto store that is supposed to help and block UV rays.

It kinda depends on what they're asking. But a 5 year old car with 60K miles still has some reliability left in it. It'll keep running for several more years if you take care of it. Don't skip oil changes, and get regular tune-ups.

Yes, I just bought a 2003 Caviler and it has about 70,000 miles on it and runs great. It is a great little car. I have been averaging about 28mpg, and I drive it like I stold it. Buy it before it is gone!!!!

If its a good price and taken care of then yes. They are reliable and good on gas.
Make sure you get any used car checked out by a professional before you hand over the money.

Don't know. What price? What did your mechanic say about it when you had him check it over?
