It's most likely from sun damage. Now that you actually have a crack, you can't really fix it, but you can prevent from getting new ones. It kinda depends on what they're asking. But a 5 year old car with 60K miles still has some reliability left in it. It'll keep running for several more years if you take care of it. Don't skip oil changes, and get regular tune-ups.

Yes, I just bought a 2003 Caviler and it has about 70,000 miles on it and runs great. It is a great little car. I have been averaging about 28mpg, and I drive it like I stold it. Buy it before it is gone!!!!

Cavaliers are good cars.I drive one to work everyday.Four speed auto trans and over 30 MPH.Best of luck.
