RHCP and Foo Fighters are massive over here. G n' R were in their heyday but Velvet Revolver are bigger than them now. Madonna's a big favourite especially now she lives here. As for the White Stripes well they are less popular in England than Jack White's other band The Raconteurs which are a band which fits in more with the current thriving indie rock scene over here. I believe Metallica played to about 80'000 people in Wembley stadium the other night so they are obviously pretty popular.

Many good ones, but Nirvana, Metallica, White Stripes & Foo Fighters are all up there for me. Black Stone Cherry are gaining fast too, as are Secret Machines & several lesser known indie bands.
