What do you think of this letter as our semi-final course of action?
To whom it may concern;
By these means I wish to inform you that I have made various attempts at getting certain issues fixed at my current apartment, 756B. Amongst the things that must be addressed are the following;
1) The current dishwasher has not worked since we moved in.
2) There is a cracked tile in my living room
3) The bathtubs floor is cracking
4) The balcony screens are missing/broken
5) There is water damage to the wood under the sink in the master bathroom
6) The sink in the master bathroom is rusty
7) The air ducts need to be cleaned due to severe allergies
8) The water heater does not supply sufficient hot water (It only lasts about 5 minutes).
All of these issues have been there since we first moved in. This was back in March. We have given a list to Alison and spoken to Noreen and Alison on various occasions with no avail. When we first came to the complex we were shown a model apartment which had been renovated and expected to live in a similar one. This did not happen. We were fine with it as long as the little things that were wrong with our apartment were taken care of promptly. 4 months should have been more than enough time to fix these small issues. We are now seeking prompt action on your part to resolve these issues within the next month or we will be forced to with hold a partial amount of the rent due to the fact that these issues lower the value of the apartment. If action is not taken within the next 30 days we will be going to small claims court. We do not wish to take this action. We enjoy living at Royal Isles Apartments but we have made too many failed attempts to have this resolved.
Thank you in advanced
