well it's more like what happened on my birthday partys.
Two sleep overs... two big celebrity death situations.
Born July 19th.
I spent much of my summer up at my dads in maine so when I came home it was well into August and my mom had made my 11th b-day party then. August 30th my friends and I went to sleep in our living room and woke up the next day to hear that Princess Diana had died.
12th birthday no sleep over no one died.
The following year I was spending the second half of my summer at my dads so my mother had my birthday party early. So for my thirteenth birthday we went to sleep in a tent on the lawn on July 15th, when we woke up the next day JFK jr. had died with his wife.
My mother stopped letting me have sleep overs after that.
