Ok the story goes that it takes in the 80s in high school. A girl she likes a guy & this guy he into James Brown & dress like him too. So this girl in able make friends with him is to dress a boy. So then she dress a boy & becomes friends with a guy that she likes. Then end of the movie she confess that she is a women & she shows her boobs to him. What is it called?

I think the other answer is correct.. seeing that I don't know of many where the girl dresses like a guy and shows skin at the end.. I don't recall much about the James Brown aspect.. (time to get the DVD off my shelf and watch it again).. But, she doesn't dress like a guy to get near him.. she dresses like a guy because her school would not take her seriously as a writer because she was female..so she dressed like a guy and changed schools to prove that it wasn't her writing that was not good enough, but her gender.. Which she does very well.. the look on the "teacher"'s face is priceless when she wins an award..
