I'll relate this to the age-old Thor vs. Superman question, because the reasoning for my answer is the same. Just as Thor would win, so would Zeus. Why? Superman has an innate weakness to magic, & Zeus is capable of using very powerful magic. Otherwise, the two beings would be fairly equally matched in terms of physical abilities. So, Zeus wins since he can exploit this weakness of Superman to its fullest.

Why everybody is saying Zeus would win just because he's a god and immortal?I think Superman would be able to defeat Zeus, although Superman would not have to kill Zeus to win and maybe he would have to win it the hard way.In Justice League Unlimited,Clash episode,Superman defeated Cap.Marvel.The Cap's got six powers (Solomon,Hercules,Atlas,Zeus,Achilles, and Mercury),but Superman still defeated him.In JLA/Avengers comic,Superman also defeated Thor. Both Cap.Marvel and Thor are not killed, but they're still defeated.Godhood is not everything, you know.

Firstly, I agree with my esteemed colleague above on this page that Superman would be susceptible to any magic that Zeus would throw at him. One bolt of lightning hurled at the Man of Steel would drop him like a stone. However, given Zeus' love of (how can I say this in a sanitized way) promiscuity, he would likely become distracted within the first minutes of battle by some random woman, drop his guard and try to turn into a cow or something in order to wile his way into said woman's home. This would give Superman ample opportunity to lay a big alien beatdown on the king of the gods.

I wouls think that Zeus could Supes down with a thunderbolt. Although lightning doesn't hurt Supes, as we've all seen many many times, Zeus is a creature of magic, so it is convceivable that his lightning could kill Superman.

superman, because all zeus can do is shoot thunder, superman has super-strength, super-speed, laser vision, can fly, x-ray vision. Just because Zeus is a god doesn't mean he can't be killed. oh yeah i forgot superman is the man of steel.
