Penis Doctor?

Question

Is there a such thing as a doctor who specializes in treating an injured or infected penis?? Im just curious. How does the doctor deal with someone who lets say,, is bleeding piss? Does like it matter what gender the doctor is? This question kinda creeps me.

Im not pissing blood im just curious.. sheesh..

That would be a urologist. They deal with bladder stuff, also with testicle and prostate stuff. Dont worry, they've seen it all.

There are doctors who deal with infections of the bladder, ureters, penis, etc. Call and ask an internal medicine guy for the correct reference, it may be him - may be proctologist.
As for male or female doctor - I would expect the female to be more sensitive to your concerns since she has dealt with the conflict you have for her whole career, but it if bugs you, make sure your appointment is with a man.

I you are pissing blood, you either have a very bad UTI or you have kidney damage. If it is your kidney, you would see a nephrologist. If the skin on your penis is infected, an internist or urologist can handle it. An internist would be your first stop.

A doctor is a doctor. They'll treat it. There is no particular need for a specialis unless the cause of the bleeding is from a particular disease, organ, or medical situation that calls for one...
