How do you get welfare? what do they ask you and where do you go? Im 19 pregnant and trying to leave this household of abuse

Welfare is administered differently in each state.
You can go online here, take a questionnaire, and see what kind of benefits you would be eligible for.

Just remember these are federal benefits. The state you live in might have other programs or a higher assistance allowance, but the website will give you a good start.

Better get on WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) subsidy too. It is a program to get neutritious food and some baby supplies to pregnant women and women with children up to age 5. The food & stuff is generic brand only and you only get a small amount of food (basicly a dozen eggs, some cheese, milk, and some juice). It will also give your newborn baby formula, which is a huge expense.
Most states have the program but the name might be different.

Oh great one more family i get to help take care of through the 2000$ i pay in taxes alone each month. It seems you have enough time to post a question online but not the time to go look for a JOB!!! You and your child's father where the irresponsible people involved in your situation and know you expect to live on the back of the American people. Tell you child's father to be a MAN and take CARE of HIS CHILD. We the American people are tired of taking care of the irresopnsibale humans that can not take care of their responsbilites. Keep your legs CLOSED and get a JOB. When you are trying to help yoursef maybe people will be willing to lend you a hand up not a hand out.
