I m not trying to offend him & his supporters but just a curious question
who is he trying to compete with
John Mccain ( who is pretty much bald as antartica's ice cap)
or Dennis Kucinich ( The ugliest man in all of the candidates)
or all the other chubby, bald candidates

This was explained by Edward's wife on "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" (a radio game show on NPR). She claimed that it was not a $400 haircut, but the fee charged by the hair salon to not have other customers in the shop while he was there with the Secret Service. That seems a little more reasonable; figuring on 5 hairdressers who could otherwise be making $40/hour each for the salon and the hassle of rescheduling all those other appointments.

His haircuts are reaching into the thousands!

Apparantly Edwards is either incredibly vain, or incredibly insecure to believe that he needs such a cut.

But to be honest, with as much money as he has, he has every right to spend as much as he wants on his hair. It's not as if he is neglecting important causes in order to have good hair. He knows the importance of the media, and doesn't want to look bad when he gets his photo taken.

And anyone who has experienced a great cut at the hands of a truly talented stylist will pay a premium price to keep that stylist!

I am a right winger. I have no lovr for Edwards whatsoever. Actually I would like to see him win the nomination because I think the Republicans would win by a landslide.

BUT; unless am paying for his haircut I could care less how much or little he spends.

because he wants to look good. if I could afford a 400 dollar haircut I would get it just for the hell of it. I mean who cares what the man does with his hair. Is he honestly going to lose a campaign simply because how much his haircut costs. This is lunacy. Dont vote for him because of his policies, not his hair, and not his money, what happened to rationality.
