First, make sure your parents are also involved since alot of castings can be inappropriate, shady, or even dangerous....even from reputable sources.
Second, you have to find the opportunities. They don't find you.

I would google it. Just type in casting calls in whatever state you live in. See what pops up.
Watch the want ads in your local paper. Check with local companies to see if they are looking
for local talent to do commercials. The best way to become an actor is to get as much education as you can, read everything you can get your hands on and stay alert to life all around you.
As you get older hold odd jobs for they will be

There are acting classes in every city and state.
Call the Theater Department of the Community Colleges in your city and ask if they recommend an acting teacher.
Call the Theater Department of the Universities in your city and ask if they teach acting.
