Yes it was a consiracy. Al Qaeda conspired to murder as many Americans as they could.

I think it was a "false flag" event that provided the pretext for war with Afghanistan and Iraq. I think the evidence is there to show that the (3) buildings that came down on 911 were brought down by controlled demolition.
I've been a Republican all my life, voted for Bush the first time, and consider myself a strict constitutionalist and civil libertarian. I'm completely convinced that 911 was an inside job.
Keep digging and searching for the truth, I respect you for taking the effort. Just know that the truth is very ugly, and will destroy some paradigms you grew up believing in.

I don't think there's sufficient evidence to support US complicity. The various theories about the US government being behind it have gained popularity only because of the actions taken: the invasion and prolonged occupation of a country that was not involved, instead of trying to capture the real culprit.
It does look suspicious, but is not necessarily true.
Bin Laden must think the American people are easily manipulated. It's like if, after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, the US had declared war on China.

Given the history and tactics of the Islamic radicals' ideology of hatred and domination - and their indiscriminate slaughter of thousands of innocent people to further their agenda with pretty much impunity, it was inevitable that they would finally graduate up to an event as horrific as 9/11.
The so-called "truth" web sites and ob-blogs are so full of BS, if it wasn't such a serious subject, it would be laughable satire at best.

Here's the thing about conspiracies. Big conspiracies involve lots of people. It depends on all of them keeping their mouths shut before and after.
Ever hear the phrase that 3 people can keep a secret, but only if 2 of them are dead?
Big conspiracies will collapse when someone repents and confesses, or brags while drunk, or whatever.

Yes. It was a conspiracy by little green aliens. They just wanted us earthlings to clash and fight each other, and countries to disagree with each other. The aliens plan on taking our earth soon. It's all a conspiracy.

Oh, don't stop worrying about it, there was no conspiracy. There have been numerous, independent studies proving that it was the jets that caused all of it. Don't go down the conspiracy theorist trail, you end up doubting that your parents are really your parents.
