I had a salamander type pet once. It was called an Ocilotto ( I haven't spelled this right) It was about 5-7 inches long, is white, and it had feathery looking fins that were kind of pinkish in color, these fins came out of the side of its head (like a fish has gills, in that area.) It lived in and out of water. My question is" has anyone the correct spelling of the name, are there any websites that have photos and info on them. Maybe if I could figure out the spelling, I can find these sites myself.
Thanks for any info.

Did you know that you can train these guys?
What I love about them is that they are permanent teenagers throughout their lifespan! Constantly in that post -larval / pre -adult phase. And damn cute!
