NO, they will not do fine in there because they need a heated tank that means a temperture of 78-82 degrees as well as a filter, you need to get yourself at least a 2.5 gallon tank with filter and heater

And no fish deserves to live in a bowl, not even a betta
How would you feel to be confined in a 4 square room?

Hope that helps

Sorry, why did you add sea salt? No Guppies don't do well in fish bowls, no fish do. Fish breath from the water, by drawing oxygen from the water, they can live, but in fish bowls, oxygen runs out very quickly, so they can only breath for about a week before they die. Get a 5 gallon tank with a heater and filter, then you can keep about 6 Guppies. You probably want them to all be male, if you have a mix, you will have a never ending cycle of babies and crowded fish tanks... Good luck!

Do some research before buying any other fish...

A 1 gallon bowl is a little bit small, a 5 gallon tank would be a better option. Plus, here's an extra tip, you should get another female. The male will become too aggressive with only one female.

Research pregnant guppies because guppies are live-bearers. If your female guppy has a large stomach and a dark spot near the bottom, right corner of her stomach, she is pregnant.

Consider getting a five gallon tank with a light for her babies. Buy a sponge filter and some plants dont' get gravel for your baby guppy tank, gravel makes cleaning harder. If you don't, the babies will become a meal for the two fish.

Here's an excellent website if you need more information: www.aquariumfish.net. On the left side you will see a list of pages to go to, scroll down until you see the category "breeding fish" then click on "guppies". Read all the comments on the page I described to you including "Mr. Dayes way of raising guppies" for a practical guide.

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back before there were cheap powerfilters, fishkeepers were amazingly still able to keep fish successfully. How did they do it? With plants of course! In a heavily planted tank, the toxins will be absorbed and guppies will be able to survive. The key is to go light on the fish, change out a large portion of water once a week, and provide plenty of light for the plants. Having said that, 1 gallon is a bit small, especially for a beginner. A betta would be much better off in a bowl by itself since they are solitary fish, live in rice paddies in the wild, and are able to breathe air from the surface. A heater is only important if your room temperature fluctuates frequently or the room temperature is below 74. Ideally, you would want it at 78, but even in the wild, water temperatures can have a 10-20 degree change in one day.

One request, if you really wanna keep fish as pet go for a tank, never go for a Fish bowl. It's one kind of cruelty to keep fish in bowl. It doesn't matter, if the bowl is larger or bigger. Bowl are for those who want to keep fish for temporary, it's like for 1 or 2 week and then they suddenly loose there interest in keeping fish, I wish you don't wanna be one of them. I personally hate those kind of people. They do nothing except giving pain to the fishes. Even fishes don't feel comfortable in bowl. Because, bowl is round in shape and for this reason fishes almost often get confused. So my advice is, go for at least a 10-20 gallon tank. They will be good in a 10-20 gallon tank. Get both air pump and filter. Air pump is not very necessary if you don't have gravels and a filter is must.

i dont think guppies live in salt water so the aquarium salt thing might be a mistake...not 100 percent sure...but a simple bowl would do, but if they have babies, u might need a bigger one cause they have like 100 babies!

Add a air pump with clear hose and airstone to airerate the water and clean the water 1 to 2 times a week since theres no filtration for it.

And your all set
